on Elle's birthday
she spent the day
digging for gold/rocks/jewels
at Natural Bridge Caverns
with Grandma, Memaw, and Archer
they had dippin dots and mcdonalds
and lots of fun!
that evening we let her pick
somewhere to go for dinner-
she chose sea island
she likes their shrimp
and the playscape
the 4 of us sat outside
and played and ate
her favorite part?
when they announced her
name over the loudspeaker
and told her happy birthday
we followed dinner with a trip to the pet
store to browse at all the critters
and baskin robbins ended the night
the next day daddy and mommy took
off so the 4 of us could spend the whole
day together
we headed to San Marcos to Aquarena Springs
the glass bottom boat ride was big hit
Saturday evening the family gathered
at memaws for the requested rainbow
and unicorn cake
jewelry, my little pony, nail polish, a
watch, dolls and a pink (real!) guitar
were some of her girly presents
showered on her by grandparents
and loving cousins!
What a wonderful birthday weekend! I'm so thankful for our precious girl, and thankful that we got to spend some special time celebrating what a treasure she is to our family!
