Elleana rolled from her back to her belly on 12/14 at Memaw's house, then from her belly to her back on 12/16 at Grandma's house. She does not do it often, yet--but somehow manages to scoot all over the place by wiggling from her back to her side. She is starting to be on the move!
I also learned that my baby girl is quite the ham--and a flirt! We went to our friend Jill's baby shower last week, and Elle was talking (or screeching) to get attention--along with what seemed to be a fake cough! She would then break into a huge smile once the attention was focused on her. She enjoyed "talking" to Corbin (her friend who is just a couple of weeks younger than her), and also threw her hands out toward him and giggled--more than once.
It was fun to see the "outgoing" side of her personality--at home I think that side of her is not as evident--with her busy brother wanting the attention too!
Speaking of the busy brother--he is learning more words each day, and echoing almost everything we say! His new game is to count "1, 2, 3 GO!"--then take of running. He really loves it when Memaw or Mommy run with him. He is very sweet with Elleana (or Eddyawna as he puts it), and always wants to hold her hand. If someone is holding his sister, he says "hold both" so he can be picked up as well.
These 2 keep us busy...and blessed.
