Not because it's Valentine's Day.
Because 9 years ago Dan asked me the question I was so excited to hear!
He proposed on a horse and carriage ride (we waited for the white horse per my request) in downtown San Antonio, after an italian dinner at Reggianos and a Carlos Santana concert!
It was perfect.
I was totally surprised.
I was even more surprised that he had flown to OKC a couple of days earlier and asked my mom and dad's permission.
He was supposedly on a "business trip" to Dallas for a big client.
I was totally duped.
And I'm so glad.
And so thankful he asked, and that I said yes. I'd say yes again - so blessed to be Dan's wife.
