A couple of months ago I started telling Elle I love her "to the moon and back," while pointing up at the sky then back to my heart. About 3 weeks ago she started to repeat it (usually just the and back) and point upwards--so cute!
A couple of weeks ago her Daddy walked by and she said loudly, "And Back!" It was so sweet and unprompted. This week while laying in bed I kissed her nose, and she told me, "And Back!"
It is so sweet to hear her use her version of "I love you"--it just melts our hearts!
