Quiet

These giggle filled moments were

captured by Daddy this week-

I was in the quiet house

making dinner.

I really enjoyed

the quiet as I chopped,

stirred, and spiced,

but these photos

make me feel

that I missed

something

special.

I'm so often saying, "don't do that,"

or "leave your sister alone,"

or ______(moms can probably fill in the blanks).

Sometimes (I think)

less intructions from this mama

would let more

love and fun shine through.

It's all a balancing act, right?
