These Kiddos

This boy:

-wants to be a fireman and a fighter when he grows up

-found a stocking and stuffed it to the brim with "treasures", and told me it was for Santa. We later found the stuffed stocking in the ashes of the fireplace - in the perfect spot where Santa would find it:-)

-loves Scooby Doo

-refuses to nap

-has a hard time falling asleep at night

-loves preschool

-loves arts and crafts - especially using scissors. He is very creative.

-is still a chocolate milk addict

-loves pears (his favorite fruit - and he calls them pearers)

-made a pretend garden outside the other day, and planted corn (weeds in the backyard). I think he is really waiting for the corn to sprout!

This girl:

-calls herself baby gurrl

-still hoards small toys and items and forms temporary attachments to them

-calls anything small a "baby" - i.e. a dime is a baby coin, a quarter is the daddy

-still loves to sing, sing, sing

-said in a voice filled with awe -as we were walking (they were riding in the wagon) looking at Christmas lights, "Awwwcher, the Christmas lights are so beautiful." To which he responded, "yes, baby they are."

-always wants noodles or chicken "schicken" nuggets

-prays every night "dear God, thank you for Daddy and Awwwcher, Amen."

-starts most sentences with "no, no, no"

-has an incredible memory - she'll bring up things we did months ago, and remember all the details!
