Free Food Always Tastes Better

As a special treat for Dan's birthday yesterday, Archer shared a McDonald's breakfast with him. He loved the hash browns and sausage, but apparently hates eggs--every time we've tried to give him eggs he spits it out. Odd, considering he loves odd foods like beets and artichokes.

As his birthday present to Daddy, he learned to drink from a straw. He was so proud of himself--he drank the most water he's ever had at once!

We've been enjoying some free meals, due to Dan's birthday this week--it's been a fun way to stretch our budget, and get to eat out a little more often.

If you sign up for some of these "clubs", you can take advantage of these goodies on or around your special day--some will also send you a free "welcome" gift via e-mail for joining.

Here are a few:

I find the meals taste even better when they are free!

Stick with the eggs. We just recently made the breakthrough in to liking eggs. I think it could be a texture thing because she will eat almost anything else.

How are you feeling?

Landry won't eat eggs either. She did between 4-6 months now she won't touch them, although she'll chow down on some bacon (yes, I know it's not healthly)! Happy late birthday Dan!
