Archer had his 18 month appointment yesterday.
He is:
25 lbs 9 oz
33 inches tall
He is on track developmentally, and only cried for a moment after his shot.
The doctor asked if he could listen to his chest, and Archer plainly told him "no" several times, however did not put up much of a fight.
He has a lot more teeth than the typical 18 month old, but that just means that we got more of the teething stuff over with early.
Thank goodness no more shots until age 4!
His favorite part about the doctor's office is the "choo-choo" train that circles above the waiting room. It's what helps stop the tears after a painful shot!
His nurses seemed shocked that I have not had this baby girl yet--they are always so sweet and tell me I'm so "small," not sure what they are comparing me to--to be able to come up with that comment ;-)
Last night our friends Margie, Andrew, and Sophia came over--and generously brought us more stuff for baby girl (Sophia's bouncer, car seat, and lots of beautiful clothes and shoes).
(Here is a picture of Archer and Sophia last year: http://richfamilyblessings.blogspot.com/2008/03/archer-and-sophia.html)
Sophia is 3 days younger than Archer. It was so much fun to watch them play together. Archer could not stop hugging Sophia when it was time for her to leave, and she was not sure she appreciated all the affection:-)
