Sometimes, in parenting, I wish I had a rewind button.
This thought usually occurs after I raise my voice.
Or after I react badly.
Or after I say hurry, when there's not really a need to hurry.
Or when I hear myself saying "just a minute" over and over again.
Or when I use my snappy, inpatient tone of voice.
I'm learning to say I'm sorry - to my kids. I'm learning to ask them for grace.
I truly strive to slow down, choose joy, and be thankful-because my children?
Incredible blessings.
Sometimes that I strive for wins, and other times?
I need a rewind button.
