Rise and Shine

We wake up these spring mornings, and Archer says:

"I want baby in bed and sing songs!"

and I lay Elleana in his crib next to him and we sing,

Rise and Shine and Give God the Glory, Glory;

Rise and Shine and Give God the Glory, Glory,

Rise and Shine and Give God the Glory,

Glory Children of the Lord

and we sing the ABCs, and Jingle Bells--at least twice.

Archer loves all things Christmas: the music, Rudolph, and of course

Santa.

He doesn't care what day of the year it is.

and after the workday, we are thankful that

the sun is still shining, so we can

draw in the dirt, play with rocks,

and make dirt stew.
